Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith has been working with the environmental justice project at TNI since 2005, although he has been more informally involved since it started out as Carbon Trade Watch in 2002. He has a degree in Human Sciences from St Annes College, Oxford University. He used to be the editor of the Green Pepper magazine and in 2003 he helped to establish Escanda, a residential project in Northern Spain that combines sustainable living with political engagement at local and international levels. He currently lives in London works part time at the Institute for Race Relations. He has been active in climate justice issues since the COP 6 in Den Haag in 2000 and participates in the international Durban Network for Climate Justice.
