The Goldstone Report - Boycotting Israel

Diana Buttu, Neve Gordon
September 2009

As a prominent UN inquiry condemns Israel for committing war crimes during its attacks on Gaza, three prominent activists discuss the growing global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign.

TNI fellow Phyllis Bennis joins a fascinating debate with radical Israeli academic Neve Gordon and a Palestinian political advisor Diana Buttu.

They discuss the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign in the light of news of more than 1,000 filmmakers, actors, and writers protesting the Toronto Film Festival’s spotlight on Tel-Aviv.

Bennis, author of Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: A Primer, also discusses the impact of Judge Goldstone's fact finding mission and report released today
