Forth World Water Forum in Mexico City

The Fourth World Water Forum (IV WWF), a main international event on water, was organised in Mexico City on 16-22 March. The forum has been criticised for being strongly business-dominated, for seeking to influence water policy making at a global level in a pro-privatisation direction, and for excluding wider participation from civil society. Responding to this reality, many of civil society networks chose to organise activities as listed below in parallel to the IV WWF.
