    The Sunshine Project is a nonprofit organisation bringing information to light on potential abuses of biotechnology. The Project is concerned misuse of some science may undermine agreements on peace, disarmament, and the environment. Through research, awareness building, and advocacy, the Sunshine Project stands for international consensus that advances in health, agriculture, and microbiology should not be used to harm people or their environment. The site has a section on Agent Green: the testing of biological weapons to kill illicit crops of coca, opium poppy, and cannabis in forced crop eradication programs.

  • Transnational Institute (TNI): Chemical and Biological War on Drugs
    International drug policy is shifting towards an aggressive strategy of reduction of supply of illicit drugs. Instead of emphasizing work to reduce demand, more and more efforts and resources are being allocated to forced eradication of drug producing crops. Tools favored by countries that promote eradication are chemical fumigation, which has recently intensified in several drug producing countries and, more recently, the introduction of biological eradication agents.
