Forum: Bush on the Middle East Crisis and Iraq, TNI, Amsterdam. Phyllis Bennis speaks on the new American Administrations' position to the crisis in the Middle East, the anniversary of the Gulf War and the unravelling of the UN Sanctions on Iraq. She also gives a short presentation discussing the possible role of the Netherlands vis à vis the Bush Administration.

Forum: Sport and Globalisation, TNI, Amsterdam. Ian Ritchie, a Canadian researcher and lecturer at Queen's University (Kingston Ontario) speaks on the Globalisation of Sport and sport industries with a particular focus on the corporatisation of sport, drugs in sport and the Olympic Games as a conduit for transnational corporations.

Walden Bello gives an assessment of WTO from the point of view of developing countries while Susan George concludes "Rules Yes, These Rules No" for the WTO
