The International No Bases Network invites you to join the International Conference for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases which will be held in Ecuador on March 5 - 9, 2007. We invite all anti-bases activists, individuals and organizations working in campaigns against war, against corporate-led globalization, militarism and imperialism; movements for disarmament, demilitarization, liberation, sovereignty, peace and justice. We also invite grassroots and women’s organizations, indigenous rights groups, environmental, faith-based and youth organizations; sexual minorities, social movements and other local, national and international progressive formations. The Conference will be a working meeting to build objectives, action plans, coordination, communication and decision-making strategies for the Network. It will also express its solidarity with the Ecuadorian people in their struggle against the Manta Base.
