International Seminar “La lucha contra el crimen organizado: hacia una estrategia integral”
On 4 and 5 April 2011, Tom Blickman participated in the International
Seminar "La lucha contra el crimen organizado: hacia una estrategia integral” in Mexico City.

Blickman's presentation was included in the panel entitled, "Policies to prevent addiction," which addressed issues such as: the relevance of policies to prevent addiction in the fight against drug trafficking, the successful experiences that are known about, and relevant health policies. The presentation was based on general considerations and take into account particular aspects of the Dutch case.
Taking advantage of his stay in Mexico City, Tom Blickman was also invited to participate in the 5th meeting of the Observatory of Organized Crime in Latin America and the Caribbean, 6 and 7 April. The event was sponsored by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Colombia - FESCOL.
Like the International Seminar, this meeting was also attended by numerous international experts devoted to the subject of organized crime.
