TNI places great importance on working collaboratively. Here are some of the key organisations we work closely with.

The aim of SinksWatch -coordinated by World Rainforest Movement and FERN- is to track and scrutinize carbon sequestration projects related to the Kyoto Protocol, and to highlight their threats to forests and other ecosystems, to forest peoples as well as to the climate.

 SEATINI is an African initiative to strengthen Africa's capacity to take a more effective part in the emerging global trading system and to better manage the process of Globalization. We deal specifically with issues and debates around the World Trade Organisation and Africa's relationships to it.

Statewatch is a non-profit-making voluntary group founded in 1991. It is comprised of lawyers, academics, journalists, researchers and community activists. Its European network of contributors is drawn from 18 countries. Statewatch encourages the publication of investigative journalism and critical research in Europe the fields of the state, justice and home affairs, civil liberties, accountability and openness

The Corner House based in the UK produces research which aims to support democratic and community movements for environmental and social justice.

Globally, powerful transnational actors are tapping into lands outside their own borders to provide sufficient food and energy security at home.

The original North-South dynamic to this 'global land grab' is developing into a North-South-South dynamic with economically powerful non-Northern countries now getting involved.

This phrase - 'global land grab' - has become a catch-all to describe and analyse this explosion in transnational commercial land transactions. The reaction to this trend by state, corporate and civil society groups has been varied, moving between the extremes of seeing it as a major threat to the lives and livelihoods of rural people, to seeing it as an economic opportunity for the rural poor worldwide.

LDPI aims to provide in-depth and systematic enquiry into the global land grab in order to have deeper, meaningful and productive debates around causes and implications.

War on Want fights poverty in developing countries in partnership with people affected by globalisation. We campaign for human rights and against the root causes of global poverty, inequality and injustice.

WOLA is TNI's long standing partner for work in Latin America. TNI been working with WOLA since the start of the programme and are currently working together to organise the informal policy dialogues in Latin America and a project on drug law reform in Latin America.

The UK-based WDM campaigns tackle the root causes of poverty focusing on issues such as debt, trade, privatisation and climate change.
