Alternative Regionalisms

The stalemate of World Trade Organisation talks in recent years has been accompanied by an explosion of regional Free Trade Agreements. The European Union and European corporations have been the main proponents, through a strategy called “Global Europe.” TNI’s Alternative Regionalisms Programme plays a critical bridging role between social organisations in the South and North challenging these agreements and putting forward alternatives.
