Jeff Halper pesenteert zijn nieuwste boek "War against the People: Israel, the Palestinians and Global Pacification"
In War against the People laat Jeff Halper zien hoe de wereldmachten, waaronder Israël, vandaag de dag hun oorlogen uitvechten.

Pope Francis in Palestine
The pope’s visit was carefully orchestrated—shaped not only by security concerns but by his insistence on avoiding Israeli checkpoints. American and other official visitors often work diligently to avoid having to see—or be photographed seeing—the hundreds of Israeli checkpoints or the apartheid wall that snakes through the West Bank, separating Palestinians from their land and dividing the... Sharon is dead, but Sharonism lives on
The tributes are already pouring in, including from Secretary of State John Kerry, who paid lip service to occasional disagreements with Sharon, but reassured Israel that “Our nation shares your loss and honors Ariel Sharon’s memory.” For the rest of the world, of course, there is nothing – nothing – remotely honorable in the legacy of Israel’s perhaps most consistent war criminal.... Pathway to Progress in Israel
The results weren't nearly as dire as many predicted. The Israeli elections last month didn't bring about a complete victory for the far right (and Israel's far-right is very far indeed!). Right-wing prime minister Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu's Likud Party, in alliance with the right-wing extremist Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel is Our Home) party, lost at least 10 seats.... Read more
