Seminar Land Grabbing in Uganda

This seminar on land grabbing and forced evictions in Uganda will tackle the impact of evictions on the human rights to food, water and livelihood. Our guest speaker from Uganda, Peter Kayira, will present the land grabbing case Mubende. We will look at small farmers land rights and access to justice in Uganda. Finally, the civil society struggle for the development of meaningful FAO Guidelines on land tenure, fishery and forests will be presented and further on the eviction case.
