Coordinadora Andina de Organizaciones Indígenas (CAOI)
The Andean Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations (IOTC) is a coordination of Andean indigenous organizations of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. It was established on July 17, 2006 in its founding congress held in Cusco, Peru. Its main objective is the full exercise of the rights of indigenous peoples, particularly self-determination, land, consultation and free, prior and informed against the criminalization of applications and the militarization of the territories. Its central proposal is the construction of Good Living and Plurinational States. This does research and works for the reconstitution of indigenous peoples and their articulation with the mainland and all the social movements and develops alternatives advocacy in international forums.
