    Since 2013, a number of countries and local jurisdictions around the world have legalised and regulated their cannabis supply chains for non-medical use. Lawmakers, regulators, researchers, and advocates continue to design, enact, implement and revise regulatory frameworks for medical and recreational cannabis. And yet lessons from regulating other psychoactive substances, including tobacco products, are not always fully considered.

    Cette étude examine les intersections entre Covid-19 et les systèmes alimentaires dans la région nord-africaine. Elle examine comment certaines conditions liées au paradigme dominant de la « sécurité alimentaire » ont accentué la vulnérabilité au bouleversement économique provoqué par la pandémie. Elle analyse les impacts de la Covid-19, en particulier sur les travailleur·euse·s (ruraux·ales) et les petits·e·s producteur·rice·s alimentaires, et la manière dont les gouvernements de la région ont répondu à ces défis. Enfin, elle propose une voie pour sortir de cette crise en s'appuyant sur des modèles de souveraineté alimentaire et de justice économique.
