Expert Dialogue on Cannabis Regulation Models
The Expert Dialogue took place in the Miramar Palace in San Sebastian and was hosted by the municipal authorities of the city. Dialogue focused on examining some regulation models currently being implemented.
The event was attended by several actors involved in the unregulated market, government officials, politicians and experts from different countries.
Some regulation models currently being implemented were discussed during the sessions: The Washington State model, The Uruguay model, The Dutch model and various other European models.
The second session focused on examining various specific experiences of the social club model. Another session highlighted the main criteria for regulation (rights) and described the experiences (in the legal sphere) in the Basque Country and Catalonia.
