Together with our project partners European Coordination Via Campesina (ECVC) and its members Associazione Rurale Italiana (ARI), Frie Bønder, Confédération paysanne, Toekomstboeren, and Mouvement d'Action Paysanne; the Institute for Political Ecology (IPE), the Institute of Urban Politics (IUP), and the Debt Observatory in Globalization (ODG), we will engage people across Europe in discussing key questions of our time: how should Europe feed, provision, and fuel itself? What is really needed to keep us safe?

These discussions will involve civil society organisations, social movements, farmers, academic researchers, students, and reach out to marginalised groups. Our work is based on human rights, bottom-up, feminist, inclusive and dialogue-based methodologies and will be cross-cutting many areas of TNI’s work, including land policy, food policy, mining, corporate power, and militarism. It will culminate in a Festival of the Futures event at the end of 2027 that brings together many of the people involved in previous stages of the project.

This page will continue to be updated throughout the duration of the project.
