From 14 September to 2 October 2026, TNI’s Hamza Hamouchene will travel across South Africa and Mozambique for a series of events around Towards Palestinian Liberation: Global Perspectives on Anti-Colonial Resistance and Solidarity.
The tour will bring the book Towards Palestinian Liberation: Global Perspectives on Anti-Colonial Resistance and Solidarity into conversation with activists, scholars, students and solidarity movements in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Gqeberha, Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria and Maputo. Across universities, movement spaces and public events, discussions will address the struggle for Palestinian liberation through an anti-colonial and internationalist lens, while drawing connections with struggles in Southern Africa around land, racial and economic justice, energy, extraction and the commons.
Hamza is a TNI researcher, activist and co-editor of the book, he will be joined by a wide range of local organisations and movements throughout the tour.
