Pauline Tiffen

Pauline Tiffen is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Fair Trade, an Open Access publication dedicated to advancing a wide range of experiences and ideas about protecting people and planet. She has worked actively to make trade fair for more than 30 years: as worker, company director, innovator, advisor, consultant, mentor and writer. She was co-founder of two successful and game-changing fair trade companies Cafédirect and Divine Chocolate and a founding board member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO). She currently divides her time between running a small fair trade support and finance company, Ollema, and consultancy with Verité (Fair Labor. Worldwide). She holds advisory roles in Uganda as Chairperson of the Rwenzori Sustainable Trade Centre, in Amsterdam as an Supervisory Board member of the Transnational Institute and in the United Kingdom as Trustee of the Pluto Educational Trust.
