Wesam Ahmad Visiting Researcher

Wesam Ahmad, is a Palestinian human rights advocate focusing on the area of transnational corporations and human rights. For over 18 years he worked with Al-Haq, the first Palestinian human rights organization. In September 2025 he was forced to resign when the US-imposed sanctions on the organisation for its work with the International Criminal Court.

He is currently focused on human rights protection, corporate impunity and accountability and advocacy related to the UN multilateral system. 

He holds a BA in Political Science and Sociology as well as a Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in the US and an LLM in international human rights law from the National University of Ireland in Galway.
