Zoe Brent

Zoe Brent is a researcher with the Agrarian Justice team at TNI, where she works on issues related to food, land and water politics. She holds an MA in International Relations from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And currently she is pursuing her PhD at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague where her research focuses on land access, the commons and food sovereignty in the global north. She is also a fellow at Food First, Institute for Food & Development Policy in Oakland, California where she coordinates educational delegations exploring food sovereignty in the Basque Country, and she coordinates the Land and Sovereignty in the Americas Collective.
